Looks like the principal (Vodein) gave power to the students, probably with some mental influence from Vodein. Nyai and Rod who infiltrated from another country didn't get any power, and those under the influence of other Beast Kings (like Alicia) aren't affected either. The situation's nicely set up as Vodein & students vs everyone else.

There's a ton of characters, but the factions are getting clearer so it's pretty easy to follow now, like "someone from this faction". Huge help that the only names we need to remember right now are the Beast King, Alicia, Rod, and Nyai.
