The new character, Mineyama, is she a dung beetle Tsugai or a cleanup crew for bodies? The Western Village. Asuma gets told his smile looks shady by Azami lol.

20 eps done. So close for Asuma, he was this close to avenging his mom. But Ivan killing Hayato Shingo was probably less about Gonzo Kagamori stealing his Tsugai and more about silencing someone who knew too much. Total cover-up vibe. Anyway, Ivan definitely has some scary-ass people backing him up.

Daemons of the Shadow Realm Ep 20 "The Fugitive and the Pursuer." The fight with Ivan got so intense! Yuru, Left-sama, and Della teamed up and it was an even match, what an absolute beast of a boss. Anna Mineyama voiced by Sumire Uesaka also seems super troublesome, can't wait to see more of her~ The gap between the gag and battle scenes is peak!

Ivan turned out to be connected to the "Western Village." Though, they haven't really explained how Ivan himself is so strong. His Tsugai's ability is temporarily draining the opponent's physical stats (like an energy drink), but his baseline combat power is all him. Like, what even is that guy, a late-night street chaser?

Asuma and the Enma-cho combo can strip all info straight from the Tsugai user, but on the flip side, if you're the one trying to hide secrets, you gotta wipe out not just the user but the core Tsugai too. That Asuma and Enma-cho setup just racks up bodies whether they mean to or not.
